To explain what 1CFT is, it is useful to distinguish between its three offer options: Basic, Advanced and VIP. Each provides access to a proprietary trading programme, but they differ in the number of evaluation stages, available account balances, fees and risk limits. Basic includes two Challenge stages before the funded phase. Advanced reduces the evaluation to one stage, while VIP lets traders start with an account the platform describes as funded. This does not mean that the higher-tier option is automatically the best choice. The sections below compare the rules, costs and terms of all three plans.
1CFT Basic – How It Works and Who It Is For
Basic has a two-stage evaluation before the funded phase. In this plan, the proprietary trading firm 1CFT offers several account balances, with a one-time fee that depends on the selected amount. Trading during the evaluation takes place on a simulated account.
Terms. In the first stage of the 1CFT Challenge, the trader must reach a 14% profit target. After passing, they move on to the second stage, where the required result is 5%. In both stages, they must also comply with the loss limits and the programme’s other rules. According to the Basic table, the maximum overall loss is 8%, while the daily limit differs between stages.
Rules. Understanding how the 1CFT Challenge works means meeting two requirements at the same time: reaching the target and keeping the account within the permitted risk limits. A positive result alone is not enough if a limit has already been breached. Basic offers leverage of 1:50, and traders should check the detailed terms for their chosen balance before paying the fee.
Passing the 1CFT Challenge therefore depends on following the full set of rules. Traders should monitor position size, current losses and overall exposure. Trying to reach 14% quickly by taking on more risk can also increase the chance of failing the stage by breaching a limit.
Benefits and limitations. Basic has a lower entry fee than Advanced and VIP, and gives traders two stages to demonstrate that their trading complies with the programme rules. At the same time, it requires two profit targets to be met, so the route to the funded phase is longer. The fee is not a deposit, and starting the Challenge does not guarantee progression to the next stage.
Who is it for? Basic may suit someone who is comfortable with a two-stage evaluation and prefers a lower entry cost to a shorter route. It may be less suitable for a trader whose strategy regularly approaches the stated limits or who expects immediate access to the funded phase.
1CFT Advanced and VIP – What Do the Higher Tiers Offer?
1CFT Advanced shortens the evaluation process to one stage. The trader first completes the Challenge and may move to the funded phase after meeting its requirements. The plan offers balances from 100,000 to 1 million, with the fee, profit target and some limits varying according to account size.
In Advanced, the required result during the evaluation ranges from 10% to 14%. The larger the balance, the lower the stated percentage target, but the participation fee also increases. The maximum overall loss ranges from 6% to 8%, and the daily loss limit ranges from 5% to 7%. Standard leverage is 1:50. After passing the evaluation, the 1CFT funded account in this plan has no profit target, and the profit split is 80/20.
The practical benefit of Advanced is that it removes the second stage required by Basic. This does not make the evaluation easier in every respect. The first-stage target remains high, and the fee is higher than Basic’s. The plan may suit a trader who is willing to pay more for a shorter route to the funded phase.
1CFT VIP differs from the other two options because it does not require a Challenge first. The user starts at the stage labelled funded, so the profit target is 0%. This does not mean there are no rules: loss limits apply from the start, and breaching them may result in losing access to the account.
VIP offers balances from 50,000 to 1 million and comes with substantially higher fees. For most available configurations, leverage is 1:50, the maximum overall loss is 6%, the daily loss limit is 4%, and the 1CFT profit split is 80/20. Some of the highest-tier configurations have different terms, including higher leverage, adjusted limits and a 90/10 split. Before purchasing, check the terms for the specific account rather than relying only on the general VIP rules.
Within the 1CFT proprietary trading model, Advanced means a one-stage evaluation, while VIP means starting directly in the funded phase. Both plans offer a shorter route than Basic. Their disadvantages include a higher entry fee and no guarantee that the account will be retained or that a payout will be made.
1CFT Basic vs Advanced vs VIP – The Key Differences
The main difference between the plans is the number of stages before the funded phase. 1CFT Basic requires two evaluation stages, 1CFT Advanced requires one, and 1CFT VIP starts without a Challenge. A shorter process comes with a higher fee and does not remove the risk limits.
| Criteria | 1CFT Basic | 1CFT Advanced | 1CFT VIP |
| Stages before the funded phase | Two | One | None |
| Available balances | 10,000–500,000 | 100,000–1 million | 50,000–1 million |
| Profit target | 14% in stage one and 5% in stage two | 10–14%, depending on the balance | 0% |
| Maximum overall loss | 8% during the evaluation | 6–8%, depending on the balance | Usually 6%; other values apply to selected configurations |
| Maximum daily loss | 7% in stage one and 5% in stage two | 5–7%, depending on the balance | Usually 4%; other rules apply to selected configurations |
| Standard leverage | 1:50 | 1:50 | Usually 1:50; higher in selected configurations |
| Profit split in the funded phase | 80/20 | 80/20 | Usually 80/20; 90/10 in one option |
| Fee level | Lowest of the three plans | Higher than Basic | Highest |
With 1CFT Basic, a funded account becomes available after the trader reaches both profit targets and respects the limits in both stages. With 1CFT Advanced, the trader must pass one Challenge, while the required result and limits vary with the account balance. With 1CFT VIP, the funded stage starts immediately, but the user is subject to the loss rules from their first trade.
Under all three plans, the account balance is not transferred to the trader as their own property. It determines the scale of trading and the levels used to calculate the limits. A payout may be available only for the trader’s eligible share of a positive result, provided the account remains active and the programme requirements are met.
The 1CFT profit split is normally 80/20 in the trader’s favour. One VIP configuration is an exception, with a 90/10 split. However, a higher share should not be assessed separately from the fee, leverage and limits assigned to that account.
In short, Basic has the lowest cost and the longest evaluation, Advanced has a higher fee and one stage, while VIP has the highest cost and no preliminary Challenge. The choice should be based on a comparison of the full terms, not only the balance or the number of stages.
Which 1CFT Plan Should You Choose?
1CFT offers three plans with different routes to the funded phase. Basic has the lowest entry cost but requires two evaluation stages. Advanced shortens the process to one Challenge, while VIP lets traders start at the funded stage for a higher fee.
How 1CFT works depends on the selected plan and account balance. The differences include not only the number of stages, but also the profit target, loss limits, leverage and profit-split terms. There is no single plan that is right for every user. Before choosing, compare the cost with the rules of your own strategy and check whether your typical position size falls within the applicable limits.
